Rain and Roubaix

SE Qld had four days of reasonably solid rain over Easter, but fortunately we still got in some good quality training miles during the long weekend.

Friday saw us climb Mt Mee with the QSM/GD/Ord boys and girls, and 'rescue' some lost dogs and stray kittens!

Sunday's ride was an attempt at racing up at Eumundi, which instead became a cool roadtrip & brunch with our good friend Brett.

Luckily he reminded us that this was also the Paris-Roubaix weekend!!!...

Monday was another eventful ride; 120km of sogginess with some diesel thrown in to test our bike handling skills... but all in all, a great four days!

Great racing, great company

So our women's B team took on the Mooloolaba criterium on Saturday, and the Mt Cotton Kermesse on Sunday.

Fantastic time was had by all, with a particularly successful Sunday, when the team managed 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th place! (... as well as another first place for best cheer squad Corissa!)

Thanks to all the girls, you are terrific to train and race with!
